HAPPY SUNDAY JAS, CAROLYN, DIANNE, MARY, WATCHER, BRIAN, TINA & EVERYONE YET TO FLY IN!
I read through the wonderful posts since I left last night and had fun doing it! Sunday's are what I call 'Sam Day'. It's the only whole day hubby and I have together and he wants my attention . Vivia's hubby treats her like she's his child I know about that too...."do you know what time it is!"...."uh huh, I do". On Sunday's it's the opposite; you'd think he'd never seen me before. Anyway, he's a lot of fun and after all these years I still love him! That's my roundabout way of saying, most Sunday's will mostly be spent doing things with him.....(we just re-potted a tangerine tree).
As you probably know (maybe you don't) summer's are very long and hot here with no rain from Mar./Apr. to the end of October if we're lucky. So this morning I got up and reveled in cloudy sky conditions. I went out to get a picture for you and wowie,a few drops of precip. hit me in the face. Sure doesn't take much to get me excited does it . Get ready, I know this will just excite you to pieces. Click twice to see my exciting clouds!

Tina, I'm so glad to see you!! I'll check out your profile later tonight! Spectacular photos on the WRGO thread.
All y'all, if you haven't already, please go look. You'll love see Mom WR and other beautiful eagles.
Awwww vivia I'm so sorry about your lost post. Did you try the back arrow at the top of your browser? That will usually bring it back. Tell you some other things to try when I get back.
I need to go get some lunch and you know......direct my attention Samward.
Forgot to give you the FUN FACT for today:
7% OF THE WORLD'S POPULATION IS LEFT-HANDED.
Any of you left-handed? I am right-handed but our son, granddaughter, my oldest brother are, and my Dad, who has passed, was.
ONE OF OUR BABIES IS AT THE NEST!

HERE'S A COPY OF MY POST ABOUT FRIDAY, 26th BEACHWALK, WHEN I WAS WAVING TO YOU...thanks for the chance to share, don't know anyone else who would be interested...maybe you already saw this on the WR Nest Cam Discussion...if so sorry for the repeat!.......................................................................................................
Charlie and Delta said to tell you hello and stop worrying...they are happy and healthy and enjoying life on a beautiful beach with lots to eat and friends to hang with and at least one parent is still with them. Yesterday, 29 July, Holly and I were with C and D for 2 hrs. When I first got down onto the beach, in the distance you could see 3 eaglets perched close together on a rock and my first thought was "There's the 3 stooges!" Plus how interesting that there is 3!!!! When closer, I saw that there was a 4th eaglet nearby. My first thought of course, was could this be Oreo or Jet?! Well I think that is a possibility for sure. Another nest is closer but it would be a short straight flight across Mud Bay from Delta 2.
The biggest of the 3 flew off the rock and went to the edge of a tidepool to look for snacks. Soon the 2nd of the 3, flew over RIGHT beside the big one. Then an adult came in and landed RIGHT beside the two and the screeping started with looking around the adult's feet (where's breaky?). The behaviour was exactly as that in the nest so based on that and the fact that they were all so close together I decided this was a parent and C and D. Meanwhile the other 2 lets were now together. Parent left soon and C and D proceeded to look around the tidepool.
Delta did her same pushy behaviour (I saw last beachwalk) with Charlie. 4 times in 5 mins she totally pushed him off the spot he happen to be standing on. There was no food involved but maybe she's practising for down the road when it is about stealing food. One of the other ealget pair flew off now leaving 3 kids at the beach. Delta then flew over to #3, displacing her (big body like D) and #3 flew down the beach a ways. Delta soon followed, leaving Charlie behind tidepooling. Within 5 mins C flew over, again right beside D, not wanting to be left behind. I forgot to say I had positively ID'd Charlie at one point because I very clearly saw his familiar tail markings that I know so well. There were a few adults flying around while we were there and of course lots of trains. The sound we hear on the cams is nothing like it is on the beach...it's deafening but the birds don't care at all.
As we left to go and wave at the cam at our alotted time, the 3 eaglets were once again perched on that same rock we first saw the 3 on. Very chummy, very fascinating, they seemed to be comfortable and settled into a close space together (rock was not that big) almost touching each other. Then we were way down the beach and I heard screeping and 1 of the 3 rock perchers was heading down the beach in our direction. I stopped to use binocs and it flew right to where we stopped, and landed in a tree looking down on us. I think the interest was the Spaniel for Breakfast? So I'm thinking Delta, as she came up onto the train tracks to check us out last time. But maybe not, an adult was then spotted in a nearby tree and so then the screeping started. All in all it was another verrrry memorable time. My impression is that C and D are together, in tune right now to each others location, and are still physically close as is at least one parent. Their place is so nice they are now inviting friends over to visit and a good time is had by all...including the human/canine visitors.

It's wonderful to meet so many new (to me) Eaglelovers & Wildlife Friends, also to see many here that have become special friends through the years of sharing fun, happy, as well as sad times, together on HWF.
You have a fantastic group who, no doubt, will experience the same & come to love one another as family.
I have read from page 1, have enjoyed meeting each of you, your precious pets, learning of your unique talents, and joining in the fun…behind the scenes…'those' are usually referred to as “lurkers”.
My usual nesting site is over on EA (Eagleholics Anonymous ), and I try to keep up @ Screech Hollow…mostly “lurker” there too. I’m a big, big fan of Ruud & Anna's Music Broadcast Shows, and try never to miss one of those.

Good Night new friends....
Annie, I am with you on cloudy days. I adore them. The first Summer we lived in Texas there was not one cloudy day and I was ready to scream.
Tina, I also am hooked on 30 words.
Iona great to see you and Jean too, Lana, glad an eaglet was back on the nest.
