I am so glad you are psychic eaglesonly. You had a perfect vantage point and it is so nice to see Oreo in motion.

Much thanks.

Hello everyone,
I had the pleasure of attending Oreo's release yesterday, and touring O.W.L for the first time. It was so great to see everyone again, and also meeting Bev and her hubby was extra special. I could have sat there all day and listened to their raptor stories...I wish I could have. Had a great time travelling over the pond with Elle, but were we ever pooped by the time we got home. Here are a few shots of Oreo in flight. I decided to go with Mmud out to the field away from the release in hopes Oreo would fly over my head...Yep...he sure did Grin

He really did fly right over our heads...it was awesome!!!!
Cheers and hugs

Don't know what Bev was pointing at; maybe an adult eagle in the area?

wowwww!! 3 more pages of wonderfulness Clapping ....hmm is that a word? It is now! Laugh

before I forget I knew about the FWS leg band and it was because Bandits pink one was left on that I wondered why Oreo's wasn't also for ID'ing him if he goes near the nest. Thanks for answering me you guys
Red Heart

I think the only reason Bandit's Hot Pink Band was left on was because we all begged - pleaded with Bev/O.W.L. to leave it on so he would be identifiable if by any chance he was spotted in the area again.

I don't think I have ever seen such a wonderful series of images. Breath taking photography. THANK YOU to you all who attended the release and shared it with the rest of us. The images posted here, due to the variety of locations from which they were taken, actually give us a better view than if we were there. Sort of like watching a sports event on TV - get to see everything up close and personal

THANK YOU

BET
