Welcome RisingEagle!

Beautiful s'cap of Ma Norfolk!

No, no one can see what's in your profile, so no worries there. What you see in everyone's posts is all that's visible on the forum. Alot of people put their location in their signature line though. (We are a nosy bunch that likes to know where everyone is from.Titter) But that's an option, not a requirement.

Again, welcome to the forum, and hope to see you posting alot...especially those fantastic s'caps!

Need a little help here. I asked this question before and someone provided an answer, and then I forgot how to get the information.
If you look at the above post, it notes the time as 6:29 a.m. on Feb. 5. The actual time I was posting this was 10:29 p.m. PST on Feb. 4 so somehow the clock is eight hours ahead. I asked about this before and was told I would need to go into Account Settings and make some changes. Could you again tell me what I need to do to get the correct time for my posts. Thank you.

Hi Ed!wave

Beautiful pics of the eagle! Left thumb up

OK about that time thang...

Go to Account settings, then click on

Layout and Language

In 'misc settings' you will see

Time Zone

There is a drop down menu to choose which time zone you're in. (I think you'll be -8 PST)

Select your zone, then at the bottom, click

Save Information

All posts should then be listed in your time. (When I set mine, I checked the time on my computer with one of my recent posts to make sure I had my zone right)

Hope this helps, and keep those wonderful pics coming!Grin

Nightowl: Thanks for the help on getting the right time. That dropdown time menu is pretty impressive, but I guess you have to take into account that people all over the world belong to HWF. I couldn't figure out though why six cities were listed as -8PST. I chose Vancouver since it was the closest. Thanks again. -- Ed
