Glad to hear that you might swing by this nest on the weekend along with all the other nests you guys are monitoring this season. With the live stream on this cam down for now..you guys are all we got.
Wish I could be there, yard work has me penciled in.

Vicki and I stopped at the Lafarge nest on our way home on Thursday, late afternoon. When we first got there (5:09 pm) an adult was perched on a branch just left of the nest. Then it flew off to the AN. One of the eaglets was busy wingersizing while the other two were flatlets.

After awhile the other two were roused; but they left the wingersizing to their more energetic sibling!

Parent kept watch for intruders from the AN, then went back to the nest to settle them down!

I am thinking this may be Ma because of the thick neck!

Note the lack of leaves on the nest side of the tree. I wonder if this is caused by the bark having been stripped off the branches. I hope the tree doesn't die!

Shrub and Gemini for taking the time to go to the nest. I sort of miss the random views the cam use to project so thank you for the different perspective of the nest with the trio. So glad they were active for you during your visit.

5:21pm...........Great photos Sharon! I imagine the one doing the wingersizing is the oldest one.........he would start first right? Yes, the tree is odd..........hope it is okay too as we don't want to lose this tree or the eagles. It is great to see the adults still around the nest as we don't get that picture anymore.
