nice day today...a bit wet to start but warm and now it's drying out. No one seems to be working at Lafarge today so very quiet and calm around their tree. Dad's been in and out. It's a good day for the Lafarge family...out to watch the web cam...bd.

Ma and Pa are up on the perch as I write this. They spend a fair bit of time up there now that the preening has begun. Right now they're drying out and enjoying some time off...small crow bombarding them from above...out...have a good day...bd.

Day trip to LaFarg May 22 2011 in the three captures to come I was quit a ways back from the LaFarg property private propertyto take these captures
#1 Mum LaFarge on the nest tree and you can see one eaglet head up from the nest bowl 4:20 PM PDT

Good look at nest tree from the place I was able to capture these pictures May 22 2011 4:30 PM PDT. It is a distance from the street and you can't get closer unless you have a very high powered lense on your camera

I saw Pa and Ma last night...Pa goes away sometimes and comes back the next day...Ma and Pa spend a lot of time up on the perch..taking a break...or on one of the lower branches out of camera view...they were both there at dusk last night...in the tree very near the chicks...every thing seems fine to me...all the chicks appear to be healthy...out for now...bd.
