Morning Lafarge wave Grin

On July 1 my hubby, sister, niece and I visited the nest area. We perched ourselves in the park directly facing the nest. We had a good view of the nest Grin even without our camera and binoculars....Cool We did have fun finding the nest too Titter~~we drove right by it three or four times sigh sign until we finally parked and explored on foot to find it Rolling on floor laughing

While we were there~Mom Wub was perched on the artifical new nest Grin and Tenas Wub was in the nest. While we were there Tenas Wub did a few wingercises and flaparoos too which was pretty cool Whistling~~she looked amazing and very strong!!. Mom called out several times for Dad while we were there but we never did get a visual of Dad. At one point Mom was scoulding a sea gull that got a wee bit too close to the nest Left thumb up.

My niece works for Lafarge and this was her first visit to the nest area~~ not sure who was more excited me or my niece Grin. We spent a couple of hours at the park near the nest and many local residents warmly welcomed us Thank You and of course we discussed the Lafarge eagle familiy with everyone we met. It was a bit cloudy and overcast the day of our visit but the weather cooperated and I got some really great pictures! I am totally happy with envy to those of you that live so close to this wonderful family Wub!!

Will post some pictures tomorrow.

I can't wait Deb!! Thanks so much! Clapping

Hello!

Terry here! I am here to see if you might be able to pop by the Lafarge Nest at some point on the Weekend. We believe Chakchak is close to or even possibly has fledged. Any report from the ground would be awsome! This is a 'generic request' that i'm placing in all the local Content Provider threads....

Thanks!

Terry

I couldn't log in all day yesterday for some reason...

Anyway, sounds like I was there just an hour after Urban Eagle was and Tenas was still pretty much in the same position. I was there for just over an hour and she never really moved other than her head now and then. No flapping, no jumping. The pic is from yesterday taken at noon.....

I was just down there again (9:30 am) and I couldn't see her... when I went to read the camera discussions it appears she was napping
