9:10 a.m.
Mom is home with a small fish. It took Cherry a minute to decide it's time to eat.
she finally waddled over to Mom to be fed.
Obviously Dad is not in the area if Mom is fishing again today Sad

Note: The fish that Mom has been bringing home are small and very dark with bright pink meat. They almost remind me of fish that some people here keep in their backyard ponds. I suppose it is possible that's where Mom is getting them from. She doesn't appear to be wet from fishing on her own.

Concerning that Dad is not around.Mad
Also after Cherry ate the fish she was still cheeping like mad so probably still hungrySad

Info on Ospreys.
"There is a wonderful book on ospreys (Ospreys: A Natural and Unnatural
history, by Alan Forsythe Poole) as well as a pretty good American
Ornithologist Union summary, also by Poole" the latter info is only available
as a member of the AOU.

This family is struggling clearly... with a loyal mom who is trying to be both the dinner-provider and the shelter-mombrella for her chick.
Tough job.:ds:

I have just watched a good feeding there. Cherry got lots to eat. I didn't see a delivery or know if Mom brought the fish.
They are both quiet now.Smile

Cherry was alone in nest and cheeping and looking up.
Mom landed.
Dad (?) just arrived with a fish. MOM immediately mantled and screeched and turned her back on him.

Small fish but better than no fish!
parents do not seem to work very well together and maybe that is why Dad
leaves. In an area of plentiful fish from many sources they seem to have trouble
and the nest is not being built up. :ds:

The female did bring in the fish..alive....I just uploaded the recording to YouTube and will post in a few minutes.

JKR, A male just arrived on the nest with another fish. I'll upload that to YouTube and post it. There's a very clear shot of his head.

Thanks for catching Dad on the nest delivering food. I was on the eagle cameras checking on things and had to turn this one off in the meantime. No doubt about it being Dad from the head markings . I just wish he'd get his act together and be a better provider. I'd hate to call him a "deadbeat Dad" but at times he's on the verge of being in that category.

Thank you Jazzel.
It is 100% our Dad Left thumb up Absolutely no doubt about it.

Take a look at this crop. It's so big she fell over and went to sleep at Mom's feet. Life is good when you have a full crop like that. hug
