The sun went behind a cloud which probably feels like a welcome relief from all the heat today.
Pepper has finished eating. Her crop is so big that she flopped down on the nest just as soon as I grabbed a snap.
Cherry has had enough as well and joins her sister in the bowl.
Mom is still eating.
This meal should keep them all content for the night.
Great news!!! Thanks for the update.

Adult just arrived with food, and I only saw one chick. I'm hoping the other is underneath her somewhere. And of course she's blocking the view of the feeding.

Darn - adult just left, and I'm only seeing one. I think jkr has contacts at the site, so I'll send her an email.

Added -
Visible chick is doing a lot of peeping. Am not hearing a second chick, but can't have the volume very loud at work. Keeping fingers crossed.

Mom just fed the visible chick; didn't see the food arrive. Still no sign of the other chick. I've sent messages to both the contact addresses on their website, and emailed a couple of people who might be able to make a more direct contact than I can while at work.
First picture is from 7:45 am; second is from a few minutes ago.

The Creston Wildlife Management people have responded to our email requests and posted on the blog that is located below the nest cam image
2011 INFORMATION
One of the Osprey chicks is gone from the nest this morning, July 6. We checked around the base of the nest to see if we could find it, but we came up empty. This is very unfortunate. We are not sure what happened to the chick - if it was taken by a predator or fell off of the nest. The chicks did seem to hang out really close to the edge of the nest, so it is possible that it fell out. Now, we have to really root for the one chick left and hope that it makes it through the season!!
