Mom is up to dig in the bowl.
One chick is instantly awake and poopshoots out of the bowl.
The second chick is till asleep.
The egg is still intact.

Okay, there's something that looks similar to an eggshell laying at the bottom right. Mom has been up but and the egg still looks to be intact. Maybe it's an old piece of eggshell that blew into view or some other debris brought in by Dad.

Wow Chick number 3 hatched. I was really thinking he wouldn't make it - that the double shell was just too much
He is quite sturdy - more so than the other chicks - so maybe the extra time in shell is helpful.
I have noticed this Mom doing something I haven't seen other Osprey Moms do. She pecks/pokes the chicks when she wants them to move. I was looking at the new one waiting for it to move to get a better view of it and Mom pecked it so it lifted its head!!! Thank you Mom
