The tiercel took care of the eyasses, even feeding them. It wasn't clear if it was the formel that returned, but when both flew to the nest within a minute of each other, we knew she had freed herself from the plastic.

this year cam doesn't look as clear - seems to be darker, it has me squinting hard to focus on them lovely birds

Lots of preening this morning as well as watching the area outside the nest.

This is the first time that I have looked at these threads this year. Isn't it something how much most of the raptor babies look so much alike??!!

I have at least 20 scaps from every day since these eyasses have arrived on the scene 3 weeks ago. Sadly, I haven't had the time to post them, but I plan to at some point!!

Junie, I find early in the morning or late in the evening is the best time to capture scaps
