Ma fed the kid{s}.
Pa returned and reclaimed the leftovers for himself.
Here he flies to a nearby perch for his breakfast.

Those are great! Thanks so much for posting them here, Doug! Our local osprey didn't do so well this year, so it's good to know that osprey in general are doing OK! Smile

Hi Judy * I'm sorry to hear that your local Ospreys had a bad year. I'm experiencing an uptick in sightings around here. Maybe it is because I am more tuned in to them, but populations in this area seem to be on the rise. I also visit the Methow Valley in Eastern Washington occasionally. There are three different nest sites that I have found over there and I saw 5 birds working one lake at the same time, about a month ago.

I visited the nest and found the family all together. The chicks are getting big enough to see, though I have to view from quite a distance to have the proper angle.
