I visited the nest yesterday {5-14}, but neither Osprey was seen.
Presumably one was on the nest brooding, but remained unseen.
Things have calmed down now that they are into the incubation stage of their nesting season.
Incubation takes 34 - 40 days, so I expect hatching to occur around the first week of June.

Hi Linda * thanks for coming over and checking out this thread.
I visited the nest briefly yesterday on my way to work. I found Pa perched near the nest. Presumably Ma was on the nest brooding, but could not be seen. After a couple minutes of preening, Pa flew off towards the lake. No doubt He was in search of breakfast.

Hi Kay * Glad you found this thread.
Yes, I expect hatching to occur in the next week or two.
However, I don't expect to be able to see the kids for a while.

It has been about 5 weeks since the eggs were laid.
I visited the nest today hoping to see some babies, but nothing was seen on the nest.
It may be a while before we see any fuzzy heads peering over the edge of the nest.
The male was perched near the nest and presumably Ma was still incubating eggs or sitting on babies.

I rode my bike up to the nest yesterday.
I did not see or hear any babies, but I suspect that they are there.
The male was seen perched near the nest.
