After a few minutes, the geese take off and once again fly over the nest.
One of the geese makes two more passes at the nest, but they then fly off.

I heard only one call of protest from the Osprey on the nest.
The second Osprey was not around, presumably gone fishing.

An hour earlier, I had seen a pair of Canada Geese attack another Canada Goose nest.
They were eventually driven away by the nesting pair.
I will be reporting on that incident over on my Red River thread.
I wonder if this is the same pair of Geese looking to take over whatever nest they can find. ??
What do birds do if they find themselves ready to lay eggs but with no nest?
