I've been worried about Morgan as she never returned to the nest after her fledge!
So sorry to hear that one osprey was lost for sure!
I'm glad I can help out here when time allows. Just to let you know I will be gone tomorrow till late afternoon. One of my social days out with friends. I'll look in at the nest when I get back home. That's all for today!

Good Morning Hellgate! Good Morning all. Mom is brooding at my first check in on the nest. Looks like a windy day there.

Mom is quietly brooding. One of the 2 chicks takes a peek outside.


ETA: "NBC Montana: Flood Warning continues all along the Clark Fork River until further notice.

Increasing clouds and shower chances for much of western Montana as an approaching disturbance moves in. By the afternoon, we look for scattered rain showers with isolated thunderstorms. High temperatures look to remain on the cool side by sitting 5 to 10° below average.

High pressure will bring a warming and drying trend Tuesday and Wednesday. Other than an a slight chance of thunder on Wednesday, it looks likes Tuesday and Wednesday will turn out quite nice. Highs this week will be in the upper 60s and low 70s. Another rainmaker spirals into the region for the second half of the work week giving us several more chances for wet weather."
