No wind this morning, but it sure is wet out. Mom is in the nest. I see these dark wet blobs trying to force their way under her wings. She does her best to give them a little shelter. They are so big that at most, only their heads get a little protection. As big as they are, they are still just little kids.

By the way, the nest is very large. What I see is only the front half. Gratefully, it's the primary living quarters, so I get an unobstructed view of the activities. The nest wraps around the back of the trunk and spreads way out. There's plenty of perching room. A little sunshine now. Maybe some activity as their wings dry.
