I just confirmed the third baby eagle this morning. Three in a row, waiting for food. The parents have brought in an abundant supply of food every day. They had some kind of big bird yesterday, like a goose or something. It's quite entertaining to watch the mom rapidly pull feathers from it and flick them to the wind.

That is wonderful - and not at all surprising, considering that they had four last year! The oldest chick would be about three weeks old now - right? They grow so fast!

The first baby is officially three weeks old today and showing a dominating personality. It raises itself up above the others. This morning it was being a bit of a bully, pecking down into the depths of the nest at the siblings. Last year I confirmed 4 at the end of April, so if there is a fourth one (not likely) I should know by May 1.

Riverbottom mentioned this nest, so I came to see if there is a cam on this nest? Thanks Smile

No cam for this nest, but I've taken plenty of videos last year with the adventures of the four eaglets. I'm starting to take pictures of the three babies when I can get a glimpse of them. They are growing fast.
