This morning, three of them were on the parents' favorite snag. After a short bit of sunning, the three flew to the nest and were all yelling for food. Here is a photo of the three on the snap and video of them calling to the parents.

Aww, Thanks for keeping us updated Sue! The parents probably just give the eaglets enough food to survive right now, so that they will get hungry and try to find their own.....don't like to see the begging for food, but it's normal I guess Smile

The three usual ones were at it again. They follow each other from the nest to the front snag, then back to the nest where they fight with each other. I'm trying to find the fourth one whenever I see those three together, but I've not been able to for over a week now. I hope to catch a photo of all four before the summer is over. During the day, they are usually down lower in the shade. A couple of them still like sleeping in the nest at night.

Thanks for the update Sue! The fourth eaglet is probably the oldest one and has maybe moved on....

The biologist assured me that all four eaglets were sitting on a log near the river this weekend. I also got some precious video a couple days ago of one of the eaglets grooming the feathers of his sibling. No video to post yet, but I'll try to do that in the next few days.
