Your video reminded me of a you tube video I saw of a bald eagle attaching a black bear up in the tree. Could have been the same situation. Here's the link:

That was a great video of a bear and eagle interaction. Amazing.

The eaglets are getting bolder. The three older ones are getting quite active at practicing with their wings. Little Joker still spends more time laying down when the other three are busy. Maybe because he knows to just stay out of the way when that's happening. In any case, little Joker has been up and moving most of the time during the normal wandering about the nest and when there is food. I do believe he's fully recovered for the deer-tail-eating episode. Here's a video of three of them enjoying the breeze under their wings.

Photo from yesterday of a parent with all four. The parent is blocking one of them, but you can still see him.

Grin Wonderful to see JJ, Jason and Jug doing their flap-hops. They are beautiful. Glad to know that Joker is doing well too. To show them where to branch, would expect to see the parents perched more often on nearby tree limbs. Very exciting, Sue! Enjoy your photos and observations very much. Thank you.

:hello: Hi Debbie/tuckerfan and All who visit Sue's Clark Fork River nest.
