I made it back to the car just as the sun set behind the clouds that were moving in.

I stopped to catch a photo of this beautiful Great Egret, they have started to arrive back from thier winter migration south.

The next time i was out at Horsshoe Lake I saw another two that were foraging in the lake and along it.

Also at Horseshoe lake I came upon a Great Blue Heron with a broken top bill. It seemed to be doing well and was foraging along the lake shore.
