Awwww Linda, your photos are just awesome. I love the young Trumpeter
Swan with his feet dangling and ready to make his landing. He looks so cute.
All the different eagles perched in the trees are just gorgeous. I especially
like the ones with the trees & cliffs in the background and I love the one in flight.
So glad you & the other eagle lovers had such a great day.
Thanks for sharing with us.
Big Hugs

wave Linda - I had to go back a few pages and look at the pics I've missed. WOW, really awesome pics. There are so many that I love. One eagle in particular perched with it's back to you, and head turned facing you. Left thumb up Gorgeous eagles, all of them. Loved all of the pairs in flight, you got some really nice ones there and the pic of the 3 juvies was special to see. Loved the Trumpeter Swan family of 3, and the Canada Geese. All of the birds on the ice and in the river. Enjoyed every one of them Wub
You are fortunate to have all of this beauty so close. I'm envious. Thanks for sharing.

Laurie, Scott, and Rose, Thanks so very much for stopping by, I'm glad you are enjoying the photos. That young swan was so cute with it's big feet, like Lori said it reminds us of the young Pelican flying over with its large orange feet hanging down.Titterwave

Great pictures you took Sat. Linda!! Love them all. Great pose from the eagle in the 1st pic. I find it interesting how every eagle has just slight variances in the way they look. This one here has a shall we say "pretty" face and it's feathers are more solid brown and very oval shaped. The nest eagle that is sitting in the Oak tree has alot of white in his feathers and they are trimmed in white and denser. Then the last eagle he's different yet again, zooming in his feathers aren't as oval, more of a cut, straighter edge and the feathers have a more ruffled, fluffier look to them. That in flight picture you captured is amazing. They are all so majestic.

How cute is the young trumpeter swan! Love the big dangling feet. I couldn't really tell how much smaller he was in flight, until I saw the one of him in the water. He is much smaller, little wing span.

Thanks for the pictures!!!

Lori, You are very welcome for the photos. I'm glad you are enjoying and learning from them. Each eagle is different in appearance and behavior, it is neat that you saw that.Nodding The little swam was a cutie.love Thanks for stopping by.wave

What wonderful pictures, Linda! It's not easy to get a bird in a nice pose in mid-flight - well done! Left thumb up

Thanks Judy, It is sometimes luck too. I try to watch for their head and body movement. Before taking to flight they move their heads in a twitching manner. I think they are checking out what direction to go and the they raise their bodies forward. I'm glad you enjoyed the photos and thanks for stopping by.wave
