The nest four photos are a Ma and Pa and young Trumpeter that are traveling together. You will notice that the youngster flies with his feet dangling. Really cute.



As the family of Trumpeter Swans made their approach to land in the water, an eagle on Ellis Island watches from a tree in the background. The youngster is following the first parent.

The nest eagle was a real beauty and sitting in a nice Oak tree. It was perched fairly low and drew quite a group of eagle lovers. It also stayed perched for quite a while and also like the first eagle did some preening.

The nest eagle did not stay perched very long, but looked beautiful against the background of the rocky cliff.

This eagle enjoyed the group of watcher and did some watching of us also.
