On this shot the eagle is wiping its head on its wing feathers. I thought that was interesting.

The eagle in this next group of photos is one that perched in this tree near the river foe over an hour. When I saw all the people and their cameras I knew there was a beautiful eagle. It sat there and posed for all of us with no concern shown at all.

Across the river from where this eagle was perched is a Gambling River Boat that is painted in very bright colors, the reflection of the colors on the river caught my eye.Wub

This is a juvenile perched in a tree near a slough area. Also near this tree is a large eagles nest and the pair that the nest belongs to were sitting by the nest. When I had driven by earlier on the way down the River Road, the eagles were in the nest moving branches around.

The juvenile only allowed me a few photos and then flew off and soared over the tree with the nest and adults perched. The adults did look up and watched the juvenile soaring.

Beautiful pictures Linda. I love the ones where they look at you. You caught one in a blink too. Smile
Pretty reflections from the riverboat. It looked like a wonderful day to be out and about.

Thank You
