I'm thinking that there were two eggs last year, and only one hatched. I must admit I'm sort of hoping that happens this year also. I'm also glad that we don't have a good view of the nest cup. This is nature - but I do choose which parts of nature I focus on. Smile

Judy, I think you're right about there being another egg in the nest. Nodding I seem to remember that now that you mentioned it. I think I came to this nest a little late...Bafana had already hatched. fingers crossed for this year, too.

Hey PE! Hello

There's nothing like looking at the south end of a northbound bird, huh? Laugh

Almost 2 hours later, and I"m looking at the same view...just with more light now.

Hey PE! Hello

I just checked and it's still down. A quick look at the Africam forum confirms it's down, but no mention of the problem or when it will be back up. Don't Know

You're welcome Nightowl! Hello he was sure a cutiebeak wasn't he? No I'll be on the sidelines with you, watching normal sibling rivalry is hard enough let alone watch it go all the way. Me also when it's all over I'll be back to watch the eaglet if I can stand the bad view. Laugh to your notes, missed Thulani...no wait there's a switch. Sounds like my posts

yeah we don't have to watch the ugly bits Judy, I even turned away for a bit with the wild one on Sidney back a bit ago

not a great view Mary and with my eyes I don't know I can take it but I'll give it a go later on

Niters all

I would rather spend my life close to the birds than wishing I had wings
