Hey Jean and Judy! :hello:

I watched in the wee hours of my morning...about 7:30AM CAT...and never saw the little guy. I saw the adult on the nest for a minute or two, but mostly I saw an empty nest, or what appeared to be empty with the little guy hiding behind the rock. Guess he wanted his privacy this morning.

Great s'caps Judy! :nod: You were the only one lucky enough to see the chicklet today!

I started watching the cam again at 7:30AM CAT...it's now 11:30AM CAT...and I haven't seen the little guy at all! I've seen an adult leave the nest, come back and settle in the crevice.

11:31AM CAT It looks like Emoyeni is feeding the chicklet, but darned if I can see any white poking out. :dunno: He's deep in there!

11:33AM CAT OK, now it looks like feeding is over and Emoyeni is nestorating.

I give up for now. It's past my bedtime anyway.

Well what do ya know! I was getting ready to shut the cam down, and there he was!



Now I'm really going to bed.

Good Morning nigtowl and Judy! I too watched all I could yesterday and never saw our little chick except for her legs behind Mom during a feeding. Glad you captured her before retiring in the wee hours of the morning! I have the cam up now.... no signs of the little one. It's very windy at the nest. You can see the leaves blowing in the wind! that we see her today!
