I was just getting ready to post that between 3:54-57PM I saw Emoyeni (?) eating and I thought I saw her offer a bite or two to the 'phantom' chicklet. happy

Guess I need to look up the physical differences between Emoyeni and Thulani, don't I? I guess if we'd seen Emoyeni lay the eggs, we'd know, huh? Laugh

Not a clue about which adult is which, though I think Emoyeni (or eMoyeni?) does much of the brooding.

She just took a little break, and I got a peek at the chick:

Both adults were just there, but I missed the s'cap. I think the male may be on duty now - he seems smaller, though it's hard to tell.

What a cutie! Wub Thanks for getting a s'cap of the little stinker, Judy! I think that's the first time I've really seen his little face...and I forgot they have little masks. S/he looks so tiny compared to the chicklets I'm used to seeing now.

Emoyeni (?) Looks like she's taken a dip in the waterfall. She's pretty wet while feeding the chicklet.

10:43AM She's now incubating and mostly behind the rock.

12:34PM CAT No changes in almost 2 hours. Emoyeni is still incubating and barely visible. Al you can see is her tail.

I did notice the waterfull seems to be heavier and more rapid than yesterday.

Good Morning nightowl!
I didn't notice the waterfall force until you mentioned it. It is stronger! Wonder if it's raining there?? That might account for Emoyeni's wet feathers.

Both parents in nest. Must have been a food drop. Thulane flies out quickly.

Emoyeni gets ready to feed the baby. ( you can see the shadow of Thulane's wings as he flies off!)

One quick look around.
