12:33 Mom and chicks begin to call and chitter. In comes dad with a nice big fish.



12:33 to 12:38 Mom feeds the chicks. The biggest gets the most of the food. The other chick is a good snatcher and gets a fair share. I never did see mom directly feed the smaller chick. I am not getting sound but they were cheeping and eating.





12:44 Chicks are under mom's wing again and seem to be ready to snooze.

I am finally able to get the cam view.

Mom and the chicks are enjoying the sun and waiting for dad to bring lunch.

Parent on the nest; one of the chicks has been attempting self feeding. Os are vocal; parent is hitting the high notes.

BACK, Cal,

so good to see you here. This is a fun nest to watch. Dad seems to bring in the fish about 3 times a day and mom is always on the watch. The babies are growing TOOOOO fast but they sure are healthy.

I am liking the sound.

Earlier it looked as if it had rained a bit in the early morning hours.

I didn't see a feeding but you can tell these chicks are well fed by the size of their crops
