went from empty nest to another mating and I missed! ohhhh this nest needs some better coverage! We may be seeing something new and not enough people to document it so that everybody learns Sad

I caught it Lori
Someone landed at 1:36pm with a fish in it's talons stayed for a second then left.
I don't know if it was same one, if it was, it came back a minute later and mated
with the one perched on the rim.

Here's a funny pic snapped right after the mating.
Looks like one has a head on both ends.

Here's the one that landed in the nest with the fish or something in it's talons, but then left
right away. One minute later we had a mating session on the rim. I see double head
markings in both pics, but are they the same??????
Look at that "Awwwww you shouldn't have" look from the female on the rim.

ohhh Rose I hope you're still here!! I think the two females are duking it out!

the one marked was the aggressor. it flew above and I thought here we go again but it did it three times and on the third time you could see the talons grabbing at a wing and the two of them went down and off nest to the left

I took this shot at 2:26 and it happened right after

2:32 nest remains empty
