Hi everyone Smile

Think we should have another Saco update soon as the last was 4 days ago. Do hope she is OK. I was looking at the 9/1 map again and thought if
she headed straight on her last course, she would wind up at Lake Erie. Smile

Hi Sherri,
I'm glad you said you'll be here next year. Something to look forward to.

I too am anxious to find out where Saco is now. Wouldn't that be interesting if she DID end up at Lake Erie?Wooh She'd need to jump on a jet plane to go south from there.happy

Well, the grass is still growing.Titter

Partridgeberry jam for the winner! of course i offer jam to the world but have never sent any jam yet,
but Jude,if ever i got an address,i
would send the jam hint, hint, haha, where are you Tiny2,he got that tick in the head and he went, now
after following Saco which i thank you
JudyB i believe Tiny2 also made a little bee line south-west,rode the strong updrafts and boogied,
probably an ingrown instinct
to do so,ride on brother and sister, ride on the hot air updrafts,by the way Jazzel is there anything
written or that Rob may have told
you where he would have evidence of any adult or juvie migrating and the highest height above land
that he definitely has recorded,i'd love to know what the highest height above sea level
that an osprey has achieved.

HelloHey there Gerard, Sounds like you make your OWN Partridgeberry Jam? If so, that's pretty cool. I'll be waiting by my mail box when I win. LaughTitterhappyGrin

Another update from Iain - I think Saco likes West Virginia!

"Saco has settled in along the Elk River in Sutton, WV. She has been busy fishing there for the last five days. Most recent data was through 6 p.m. yesterday and she was back and forth along the river just below the Sutton Dam. I'll be posting a couple new maps including a fun one of her first 10 days of roost sites."

Link to Saco's maps - http://www.nhnature.org/osprey_project/Saco_maps.html; you may need to refresh/reload the page to see the newest maps.

Thanks, Iain!

Maybe she misses the picnic table at Ayer's. Smile

If that grass depended on the rain we have had here in CT this last week, it would be 2 ft tall by now! Roll eyes
