Visited the nest this morning for about half an hour. One of the eaglet is semi-fledged - hopped and flew about

2 meters and landed above the nest . After a minute or so he hopped/flew back to the nest.

Also a skinny looking juvie is hanging around , followed one of the adult back to the nest tree and almost landed

but both adult in unison chased him away.

Hi ,Gemini and other freinds of this nestwave
Dawn and I made it out on Sat.With luck in are favourClapping When we arrived both Mom and Dad where in the Tree .With the chicks and so it would seem Dad napping .With Mom keeping a whatch full Eye.And as usual I will have to make 3 more post (sorry) I could only get down to what I think are my best 12 out of 105

So we where there for about 15-20 min.when the chicks woke up and Sarah is spot on .These two want to fly,One made his way out of the nest and branched for awhile.

Love the "high 4" picture especially! My friend was down on the weekend and saw the two adults and 2 eaglets as well, after an early season scare they seem to be doing just fine!
