Judy, is she on the left of the thick limb? The nest must be really deep!

Here is Ma Vanier who just finished her bath after she ate. Notice the ducks are not afraid. Photo taken by Mike Seear and sent to me for posting here. Thank you, Mike.

Sitting eagleVanier Park eagle loversSitting eagle.....I was down to Vanier Park today to see if I could see ma Vanier sitting on the nest bowl and she was there cleaning the nest bowl and pa Vanier was on a branch close to the nest on the east side of the tree. It was a dull day today so my smart phone camera didn't pick up any colour and it is not as clear as my Canon but you can clearly see in one photo ma in the nest with her white head and pa on the left of the nest with his white head and body facing towards False Creek.. The other two photos are of ma Vanier's tailfeathers and rear bending into the nest cleaning it and doing an feeding the bobble. Had to correct myself because I thought she was egg rolling but was told by Diana that the egg or eggs had hatched.....yeah so cool ClappingCoolEgg Hatch

Click X2 I've tried to blow it up to 200% but do not know if it is clear enough or not as the three photos were taken from a smart phone camera.

Hi Judy

I don't think Ma was rolling the eggs..................the eggs have hatched!! I wish we knew how many there were......she flew off the nest and caught a rat and was feeding them today when I was there....very exciting!
