The nest is quite deep so sometimes it is hard to see her...............I can see her with binoculars......she went to the back tree to eat yesterday and dad come off his perch and went into the nest so I do think that there is an egg

I look forward to seeing your posts, Diana, it's great that you are able to see them with binoculars!

Is that the totem pole in Vanier Park or the one between VP and Granville?

Thanks for your observations Judy, Diana and Larry. I love the picture of Pa Vanier on the pole, Larry, and especially the one confirming Ma in the nest incubating. Those binoculars surely come in handy, don't they, Diana.

Thanks Urban Eagle. What equipment are you shooting with? When I was in Vancouver I had a 55-250 lens but have since upgraded to 70-200 with a 1.4x extender. Wish I would have had that when I was there! My camera is quite old, a Canon EOS 30D.

TEFwave My camera is a Canon 7D and my Lens is the zoom100-500mm Segma with a 2x extender.
I am looking into the Canon 500mm telephoto with the 1.4x extender, just a little pricey.
A couple more from yesterdaySmile
