You are busy indeed, Ian!! Thank you for being our eyes at more than one nest.
Hello TEF do I know you from the 'old forum'? You seem familiar..
I came for the eagles, and stayed for the friends I made

Hy Terry!
Yeah, this is the only thread I really posted in. I live in Toronto and my friend lives in Kits so I'm very familiar with this nest and get him to visit it whenever he can. I posted a lot of pictures that he took last year.

Ian, yikes, that lens is huge:blink: Do you have a 'caddy' to carry it around with you One of the 'older' guys at my camera shops has used Pentax for decades and would never consider using anything else.

My friend went to the nest today because he was worried that last night's storm would have damaged it. There was some nest debris on the ground but one eagle was in the nest and the other arrived while he was there. So far, so good.

Dropped by just after work this evening. Probably around 5:45pm. Just as I was pulling into the parking lot, one of the eagles flew in from the West and went over my head to the nest. I turned on the camera when it was just settling on the nest. I had arrived just in time for a switch. The second eagle flew out over the water and circled for a minute before heading to Stanley Park. The video isn't great quality, but here it is.

Thanks for the coverage. I'm so glad they've rebuilt and have a little one. I stopped by this park a few times last summer when i was in Vancouver, and saw the 2 fledglings flying around.
