Hi Ian and freinds of these Eagles...( Ian sorry I missed meeting you at the pizza hut lunchin ) I was down at the nest at around 11am
Found both ma and pa on there Totem pole. Very windy and starting to rain . Could only stay for about 20min. but nether one left.

HelloVanier Park ground crew, nice pics Ian, Larry and Judy.
In all the times I've been to the nest I've not noticed the flag that close to the nest tree. Is that new? Great shot Judy, love it.

The flag pole has been there a long time... Possibly since Expo '86. It's at the other end of the parking lot so you don't see it in a lot of the photos.

Ahh, thanks Ian. Smile I knew of the flag pole in the park. From Judy's pics, it looked like it was right by the tree.
This pic from katkam.ca back in May shows the distance between the flag pole and the nest tree.
