Thanks for checking on them Larry, I haven't been able to get out. It would have been a great weekend for it.

Dropped in at Vanier on my way home from work. Just driving down the access road towards the nest, and viewed one of the eagles flying away to the east over the Burrard bridge towards Granville Island. Quickly lost sight of it.
Also a note. There has been a lot of brush clearing along the side of the access road on the side opposite the Archives and the Telescope. Same side as the music center. There have been a significant number of trees with a diameter over 1 foot which have been removed. I'm not sure if construction will be starting in this area, or if they are just cutting trees back away from the road.

I haven't found anything specific about the tree removal, but it might have been part of the construction of a new BMX jump park in the area. I'll take another look as soon as I can get over there in daylight.

Here's some info abou the bike park. Apparently it opened October 2nd.

I was at Vanier around 3:30pm. Just missed an adult flying away from the next and out over the Burrard bridge. That's the second time... Do you think they recognize my car? I had some time so I waited around. About 40 minutes later the adult returned. Took a couple of pictures then headed over to Jericho.
