Fluff is brooding the chicks

Hi there. I am new to this camera and forum and i just wanted to say this little hummingbird and her babies are ADORABLE!
I noticed when she was sitting on the nest earlier she had a red mark on her neck that looked like a wound? Did something happen to her or was that just tree sap or something? I tried to get a s'cap but she flew off too fast and isnt back yet.

4:30 PM - Mama is back and she's fine, i don't know what i saw before but nothing now.
