I don't know if this is where to post, but here I am.
I received a pm, when I replied to it there was a red bar that said "security token failure"

islandgal, that happens at times when you take too long writing your PM. When the red security token appears just ignore it and hit the send button the second time. Your PM should then send.
We've had that function happening since we started this forum. I don't think there's a "cure" for it -- at least not yet.

I'm not sure if this is the correct forum to post about a post I made earlier.
I finished my post and pressed submit button. Then a "Permission Error"
page came up and I was to contact an administrator. Can anyone tell me what I may have done wrong ?
I'd be most grateful for help and any info would be most appreciated, regarding this error message.

Two things come to mind, Junie.
One is that sometimes if you're taking a while to make a post, something times out. Usually if that happens you'll be able to click Submit a second time and the post will go through. This is mostly a problem with PMs, but I've seen it happen occasionally with posts.
The second is if you had a link in your post to a website or a photo-hosting site, unless we've told the forum software that the site is "OK" it may decide you're trying to post spam. If that happens, we need to add the website to the "whitelist" (the name for the list of approved sites). The trick is that once the forum has decided a certain website might be spam, you can't PM me about the problem.
You can send an email to me and the other forum admins by using forumadmin at hancockwild dot org, substituting the usual symbols for the words at and dot - any one of us can add a website to the safe list if you send it to us with a request that it be put on the list.
Hope this helps!

I took snap of SWT update to post on the page, maybe that was the problem. I waited a wee bit, then I tried again and SWT update did post on second try.
Thank You JudyB for you're help and info - my pc has been acting up too
