Apparently there is another way also - if you use IExplorer. Look at the picture I'm posting, and click on the compatibility view before you click reply to post. BBE told Nightowl how to do this. However!!!!! if you click it in the middle of a post - the post will go bye-bye, never to be seen again

Velma, I think we'll try Plan A first and if all else fails we'll give the dangerous Plan B a go. Thanks for that
ETA: Plan A didn't work....rattttttzzzzzz on to Plan B wish me luck

Sometimes if I'm making a lengthy post - and I DON'T want to have to retype it all over again if the post doesn't go through or disappears - I type and save it first in Word, then copy and paste it into the Reply box. I don't know if it would solve your problem, Lori, but at least you wouldn't have to retype your post over again.

Hi BOP long time no see
That's what I do too but here's the deal...you've typed out your long post in my case called ketchup on our EA thread and now you've pasted it into a post. If you want to edit it to add something or you want to insert a pic somewhere the post jumps around like a cat on a hot tin roof making it all but impossible.
I'm going to take Velma's Plan B over there now but I fear for the ones that still don't use Word or Notepad for the original notes. I have no fear of losing mine...them not so much but here goes

woooooooohooooooooooo Velma!!
I just posted a mini novel and nary a jumping bean in sight!!
I had never seen it either till I got this new laptop and Windows 7! it didn't take long for it to say Hellooooo to me
ETA: Velma this is great jumping beans or not as the page lays out much better than it did! Bonus!! When you click on it you get a message saying "hancockwildlife is now running in compatibility mode" or something like that and you now have a checkmark beside it when you click on "page" at the top. I'm going to watch to see if the checkmark is still there when we log out and back in. If not you just need to click on it again.

Glad it worked Lori! We have to give Ann (BBE) credit though!!!! She told Nightowl how to do it, and she in turn told the Screechers!!!! I haven't tried it, as I've had no problems.
