I'll post mine too, Donna. This was an action packed feeding although we did not get a chance to see much of the eaglets due to both biggies on the small nest at the same time. It was interesting to see the big chunks Dad pulled off to try feed his Little Ones. After the feeding one parent began to incubate - but oh no - the other parent wanted equal time and nudged his partner away. I thought it was Dad Sooner that wanted his fair share of incubating time but of course, I'm not positive.

One parent has just nudged the other off the eaglets so he (?) can incubate.

Good morning! Great pictures, Donna and CAL.

I was thinking there was snow on the nest when I first looked in - but now I think it's feathers left over from yesterday's dinner.

The second adult just visited briefly and both were calling - I'm guessing someone was coming a bit too close. Looks like the concern is over - one adult left, and the one who was brooding just got up to serve breakfast. I see both little ones moving around - but can't stay to watch the feeding. Duty calls - bye!

Agree with you, JudyB, about the feathers and an intruder. Was watching Mom while she was incubating; she started calling-out. Dad arrived to shout warning calls for about a minute as he looked overhead. I had the WA cam up and saw a large bird fly out of the tree; it had been perched up over the nest. Dad was off like a rocket after the greyish colored bird.

Dad screams at the intruder.
