Ian and I also visited Ma and Pa this afternoon. We have photos and video that I will post later. It was very windy and there were lots of seagulls out and about and also a sub-adult intruder at the beach. It looked to be a 4- 41/2 year old . ( could it be Big or Lil )
yalitldevl posted on the observation thread that the nest was left unattended for 19 minutes. Pa was having quite a time getting rid of this intruder and Ma flew out to help. But all is well; they were successful and it is so awe inspiring seeing them fiercely " in action" like that and then come back to see a video of them being so sweet and cute together at the nest.
Ma may very well lay # 3 tonight. I expect if # 3 doesn't arrive tonight, then we can be pretty well assured there will be two bobbleheads this year.
Be back with visuals anon.

Thank you so much Kay for these pictures - they are all wonderful. It is nice to be able to view the nest from your perspective. I wish Ma had flown out for you too or at least, stood up. It looks like such a pretty day too for you to visit.
