This new thread is to be used to report important information or news that is happening around our HWF forum. We have grown so much over the past couple of years and have so many different threads now it is literally impossible for us to be up to date on everything going on all over the forum...so the purpose of this thread is to communicate important news that is happening on our forum kinda like a "communication book"!

The first egg at a nest, the first hatch, the birth of a panda, the loss of a chick or other significant unexpected events occurring at a thread would be an examples of important news to share here.

So please feel free to post important news items here and provide a quick link to the thread and story.

Please keep your news item brief - just a sentence or two and a link, no pictures, no more than one or two smileys per post and no quotations or discussion here. Thanks!

Also please note this is not a discussion thread so please make any comments about the event on the appropriate thread .

Interesting deveopment at the Ely Bear Den today.....Momma Lily removed her collar today! Both Lily and Hope had alot of fun playing and chewing on it. This incident lead to a den visit by Lynn Rogers and his team to reapply the collar!

Interesting development at the West End eagle nest this afternoon....an unknown adult with a orange wing bling landed at the nest this afternoon. The wing bling was to clear! Unconfirmed reports at this time indicate the afternoon visitor is Superman K01. Check out the link below as this is a developing story particularly as to how this will all be settled as a new male K51 has been mating with the permanent female Wray of this nest for weeks now.
