As of the morning of April 10, the Discussion thread had 4,486 posts and 167,903 views; the Timeline thread had 1276 views; and the Video thread had 685 views.

I'm planning to just provide a link to the first post each day, unless there's an especially significant event. I'm not going to include links to videos - please refer to the Sidney 2011 Videos thread for a hopefully complete list of the videos posted this week.

April 10
- 5:57 am - Mom on the nest as it gets light
- 6:59 am - Mom up for a stretch and poopshot, then settles back on eggs
- 9:51 am - Dad arrives, Mom leaves
- 11:21 am - Dad up for egg roll; s'caps suggest there might be a 4th egg
- 11:45 am - Mom arrives, Dad leaves; Mom piles straw around herself as she incubates
- 3:54 pm - Mom calls, Dad arrives, Mom leaves; noted that Dad is more active while incubating than Mom
- 4:58 pm - Dad leaves, Mom arrives a minute later; looked as if she hopped more than flew into the nest
- 8:00 pm - Mom still on nest as it begins to get dark

April 11
- today is day 35 for the first egg; most eggs hatch 35-40 days after they're laid, and the first egg often takes longer than the second, which may take longer than the third
- 6:34 am - Mom on the nest
- 8:21 am - Dad on the nest
- 8:27 am - Mom arrives, Dad leaves
- 8:52 am - Dad calls, then leaves the nest; adult back a minute later (ID not confirmed)
- 11:16 am - both on nest and one has food (maybe rabbit)
- 11:17 am - Dad is incubating (Mom has left, probably with the food); 872 viewers on CU cam
- 11:53 am - Mom arrives with stick; Dad gets up after a couple of minutes and beaks a couple of sticks; Mom rolls the eggs and settles in; Dad continues to work on the nest
- 12:02 pm - Dad standing on nest, Mom leaves, Dad turns at least one egg and nestles in; 883 viewers
- 1:10 pm - Mom arrives with bundle of grass, Dad leaves; windy at the nest
- 4:40 pm - Mom flew off, back 45 seconds later
- 5:53 pm - may be Dad on the nest
- 6:25 pm - Mom arrives, Dad leaves

April 12

- 6:20 am - Mom on nest as it gets light; egg roll at 6:32 - three eggs visible
- 9:11 am - Dad arrives with clump of grass, Mom leaves
- 10:46 am - Mom arrives, Dad leaves; noted that the mark/injury on Dad's neck is almost gone
- 11:17 am - Dad arrives with fish (small halibut or midshipman?), putters around in nest; Mom gets up to claim meal but doesn't begin to eat; after a couple of minutes, Dad moves to incubate the eggs; Mom leaves - not sure if she took the fish
- 2:08 pm - Mom arrives, Dad leaves
- 3:35 pm - Mom on nest, eggs rolled around this time, no sign of pips
- 7:18 pm - Dad arrives, Mom eats and leaves; eggs look intact
- 7:31 pm - Mom returns and Dad leaves
- 7:34 pm - possible pip hole spotted (link); noted that Mom seemed restless

April 13
- day 37 for the first egg
- 6:21 am - Mom up to readjust; three eggs seen; Mom changes position fairly frequently; no pip visible yet; noted that Mom is showing signs that she hears a chick peeping and perhaps chipping away at the eggshell from inside
- 6:40 am - three intact eggs seen, no pips visible
- 8:16 am - Dad arrives, Mom leaves; possible pip in one of the eggs
- 9:23 am - Mom arrives with big clump of grass; waits a couple of minutes; Dad leaves, she takes over incubating (she appears to be listening at times - perhaps to a chick beginning to hatch?)
- 10:37 am - Dad arrives, Mom leaves, Dad settles in (possible pip seen as they changed - link)
- 11:15 am - pip is growing - link
- 12:12 pm - Mom back; after thinking a bit, Dad leaves
- 4:46 pm - pip is getting bigger - link
- 5:39 pm - Dad arrives with food, likely mammal (part of a rabbit?) - link; Mom looks at the prey, then leaves without taking the prey; Dad gently incubates, readjusting several times
- 6:15 pm - Mom arrives, has some of her half of the rabbit while Dad continues to incubate (several people think Dad had some before delivering it to the nest)
- 6:22 pm - Mom offers Dad a bite of food while he incubates (practice?) - link
- 6:28 pm - Dad gets up and leaves, Mom takes over incubating; possibly two pips; possibly movement in nest cup; Mom appeared to be listening to the eggs from time to time

3 days old - 1 day old - egg
Day 34 for third egg

April 17 s'cap by MaryF at 6:44 pm

As of the morning of April 17, the Discussion thread had 5,623 posts and 223,728 views; the Timeline thread had 1492 views; and the Video thread had 749 views.

- 7:47 am - feeding - #1 fed; a bit of pecking, stopped by Mom

- 9:00 am - Dad arrives, Mom leaves, Dad settles in
- 10:35 am - Mom arrives, Dad leaves
- 10:35 am - feeding - Mom was between the cam and the chicks so hard to tell who was fed; #2 may have gotten a couple of bites - link; pecking between the chicks as they were tucked in afterwards
- 11:09 am - Mom tried to feed #2 but fight broke out between the chicks so Mom sat on them
- 11:15 am - Dad arrives with something big and furry - food - link
- 11:17 am - Mom takes the prey, has a couple of bites, and reaches to feed the chicks, then Dad moves up to cover them and brood (second time we've seen him begin brooding while she's feeding
- 11:19 am - Mom leaves while Dad broods; rivalry looked pretty intense during the switch
- 12:16 pm - Mom arrives, Dad leaves; Mom feeds #1 - major rivalry
- 12:25 pm - Mom leaves; Dad arrives either with a live fish or announcing the live fish (food) - link
- 1:10 pm - Dad leaves, Mom arrives
- 1:11 pm - feeding (leftovers - maybe old fish, not the new fish); #2 might have had a bite or two; #1 ate some but didn't seem too hungry; feeding over at 1:17 pm
- 1:33 pm - Mom has a live fish on the nest and is trying to deal with it while brooding - link
- 1:49 - 1:56 pm - feeding - #1 got 12 bites, then moved and #2 got 8 bites, then #1 got some more - link; first observed substantial feeding of #2 (about 30 hours old)
- 2:44 pm - looked as if Mom tossed #1 out of the nest bowl, or may have been biting her feathers when she twitched or shifted - link - link to anna-holland's video
- 2:52 pm - feeding - #1 fed beside the bowl; don't know if #2 was fed
- 3:59 pm - feeding - #1 biting at Mom again; only #1 was fed
- 5:00 pm - attempted feeding - #1 pecks #2 down; Mom offers food to #1 but she doesn't take it; Mom eats instead
- 5:34 pm - feeding - #1 gets most but #2 gets a little; only pecked 3-4 times

- 6:38 pm - Dad begins to feed leftovers; several observers reported that #2 got most of the food
- 6:52 pm - Mom back (or maybe Dad) with food - possibly large piece of fish; Dad leaves, Mom begins feeding the fish to the chicks; some rivalry, but the smaller chick got some pieces; feeding over at 7:04 pm - link

Lots of great videos - feedings, rivalry - and #1's "flying lesson"!

April 18, 2011
4 days old - 2 days old - egg
Day 35 for third egg

April 18 s'cap by yalitldevl - Mom wants to feed, Dad wants to brood - 3:54 pm

Summary:

Oldest eaglet was very into aggressiveness, pecking everything in sight and apparently preferring an attack on the side of the nest bowl to being fed at one point (which did help the younger eaglet get some food).

There was also one point when it looked as if Mom sat on #1 and left #2 half-out, and Dad fed #2

I'll be adding more details and links when I have a chance.
