Great shots of the hawk visitor Nanc I don't really like them hanging around my yard, most of my birds have disappeared....now I know why. It is however, nice to see the hawks.

Thanks Iona for the points but my mother is a breast cancer survivor and usually walks every year, but due to her being in the Hospital this year it was left to me and I enjoyed the walk as there was 20,000 people there it was like a running and walking party ....and she's doingh fine so far up and about in that wheel chair and looks more healthy than she has lately I'm happy with the results as she is 94 and still runs the roost....heh heh My only problem is she walked fine before going into the hospital but now she's having problem with swollen legs from non use in the hospital and if she was still at home I believe she would not be having leg problems as these problems didn't arise until after she was in the hospital about a month

now off to work bbl

Howdy Scott, funny TV tree! Last night while I was reading the update and watching the vid I just had to go back in time and watch my all-time fav video of Hope and you know what? I laughed my butt off and it felt good to see her, think her name and laugh instead of cry. It actually eased some pain from my heart. Lori and Annie, I will be keeping an eye on the cygnet. It appears to be only the end feathers of the wing that are injured. It would not leave this area most likely until next Feb. I will be in touch with Mike by email. There is a double sward in informing the wrong people that be remove the cygnet from it natural habitat and family when it may be able to heal on its own. I will be keeping a close eye on it. I was glad to see it swimming and foraging with no problems. Wow is it a large youngster, most likely a male for sure.

Candy, Be careful the rest of the week with your hubby on vacation. I hope your head is feeling better today.
