I would rather spend my life close to the birds than wishing I had wings

Fur-riday:
Amykepler, nice video. Look at those talons.
Yay for Buddy, Scott
I looked at facebook and saw Sue with Hope and it just brought tears. How amazing to have been there, though. I would have snatched up that chance in a heartbeat.
Lori, I had pretzels and warmed cheese salsa. Figured instead of cooling my mouth, I'd put a little fire in it.
Judy, all those pretty yellow and white flowers are cheery looking. I like the fried egg flower plant.
Nancy, party had to be good to stay extra long.
Gord, thank you for the Lily and Faith candle link. Went there.
Lori, thanks for posting the Hope candle link. Went there. And thanks again for Starr's Joelle candle. Got them all bookmarked.
Scott, great pic of Faith grooming. She looks so big. Nice den video.
You got some terrific pictures of the RT Hawk. Pretty nice one of the Mallard to see the blue on the wings. Mr. & Mrs. D have a great yard of birds. I had a pear tree at my first house. Was there when we bought it. I never tasted such sweet ones. Maybe because they were Candy pears.
Starr, good to hear Joelle Star is home where she can be comfortable.
Saturday
Thanks for the start Scott.
Judy sweet teacup dog.
Jean, I saw on the news that your area might have a worse drought than this one.
Doreen,
Tweets, Tea plants. I was going to say Rose Hips. Kind of close. They make rose hip tea.
Linda, oh, no, that The Great Crested Flycatcher has one of my butterflies.
Laurie, cute Saturday card. Just like me, my head in a bag of munchies.
Naoma, tell your dogs to swish their tails while you are away, then voila, all your dusting is done.
Judy, well, I'm here and it is the forum is running better. I'm afraid to move back a page because then it won't go to the next one too fast.
Lori, thanks for letting me know how slow it is here. Like Judy, at least I know it's not just me.
Even I think I could drive one of the those bikes. vroom vroom.
Jean, I still have a little trouble if I go back a page. So, I just keep pushing forwards.
Annie, what pretty colors of the sunset. Yes, those are good temps to start morning walks.
Lance, what a perfect cartoon.
Lori, another excellent recap of the show. When I read it, I feel like a horse race. I love it.
Scott, thanks for the link to Jo and her cub. Den time can't come soon enough.
It's much better here, but not perfect.
Bev
Anna, what beautiful web/dew/rain drops. So jewel like.
Wonderful pictures. Every time I see you and Brigitte, it reminds me of all the time I did things with my Mom. Special times indeed.
Naoma, like your Klok and Reflections.
Starr, Joelle continues to be in my prayers.
Nancy, looks like you had a very nice day shooting the video. Love the bird call.
Lori, great video of Nancy's day in Florida.
Elle, I'm sorry you are not feeling well. I hope you will be better real soon.
Judy, how nice everyone was able to visit with your Mom. I'm sure she totally enjoyed it.
Gord, all I could sing in my head was "Midnight Man" one of my absolute favorites.
Scott,
I'm not even going to preview, so sorry if I made mistakes. I tried once and the way it was going I was afraid I'd lose the post. So, I'm hitting submit and hoping for the best.

Tex, you may want to check to see how you spelled T-shirt (from JU-D) in your post above.
Great time at the show today. Sometimes it is difficult to listen to everything Ruud is saying, watch the slideshows, read the chat and type all at the same time. I missed some of the dedications and sentiments from some people so was wondering if you would want to re-post them here. I will add mine to start it off. If you don't want to, that is fine too.
Dear Anna and Ruud,
It has been a very disheartening and discouraging year losing the young Eaglets, some of our pets and now our Hope. Plus people getting sick and battling through their ailments has taken a toll on everyone.
But there has been one constant in all of this, and that is the love shown by everyone in our group towards each other, to help anyone who needs it get through the tough times. This has been possible through the Hancock Wildlife Foundation and, more specifically, the Eagle Lovers show, hosted by our wonderful Anna and Ruud. Thank you both for devoting your precious time bringing us together in one place every week to share the love we have for each other, to laugh, joke and yes, cry together....to be and feel alive!
As we celebrate the 2nd anniversary of the Eagle Lovers show, the too short lives of little Jason and Hope, our lost pets and all of the young Eaglets who did not make it, I know in my heart that:
"Love Will Keep Us Alive" by The Eagles
