Hi Everyone!

I wish #2 could be removed to thrive elsewhere or not suffer Cainism here. i know that won't happen though.....

Good afternoon Judy and Carolyn! :hello:

Great s'caps of both of them enjoying another breakfast, Judy! Grin I think all the little stinkers do is eat.

I'm hoping that both survive also. I guess there's a slim chance, but if something does happen, there will be no interference apparently. Someone on FB asked the same question, Carolyn, and here is Africam's response...

Africam The Black Eagle Project is a scientific conservation experiment, because of this human interaction with the wild eagles is always avoided except when absolutely neccesary. You can read more about cainism and the history of Black Eagles on the project's website here: http://www.blackeagles.co.za/

They seem to be taking the same stance HWF takes...unless it's caused by humans, they will not interfere with nature. Besides, they can't take a chance Emoyeni and Thulane might abandon the nest and leave the remaining chicklet there. :ds:

Hi Nightowl,

I understood and respect that reasoning on their part. We have no place in messing with it, but we can wish that both survive. I know truly it is what it is and that is good as Nature knows more than we do. It is a matter of enough food.
Thanks for posting that Nightowl,

Good morning! wave

Thanks for the s'caps Judy! It's good to know both chicklets are still around. The longer the youngest survives, the better the chances are.

I don't know why the cam is this shade of blue...it's purty!...but it makes it difficult to see what's going on. Puzzled

1:31PM CAT Emoyeni is feeding the oldest, and for a few seconds, I didn't see the youngest and my heart sank, but he's there! Clapping He's in front of the oldest and popped his head up a couple of times. I'm not sure if he got fed cause the cam kept freezing up.
