After the initial excitement of seeing Padis come to the nest - Lesser Spotted Eagles have once again taken up residence!
Which is just as well - because the camera view field was adjusted to show the eagles better!
The storks didn't quite fit Grin

Be aware that these birds practise Cainism - or Siblicide!

The eagle started to call out and did so for quite a while...finally took off calling as it went.

Mom is snuggled into the nest. I wonder if there is an egg?

No egg yet in this nest--

There are two Lesser Spotted Eagle nests with cameras this season. The one I've recorded here was formerly a Black Stork nest. Two LSE, affectionately named Tuuli and Remo by the Estonian forum, have taken over.

Video: Dear, Do We Have an Egg?

After spending a couple of nights on the nest, Tuuli has not laid an egg. Her mate, Remo, arrives and seems to ask the question: "An egg, my love?"
