Beautiful pics Pam. Smile
Great to see that you're getting around on the "new" forum now.
This will definitely be another of my regular stops.
It was nice talking with you the other day and sharing some information.

I posted a reply last night, which I see now did not show up as posted. It may have been human error as I was quite tired.
So here it goes again.

PEB, Hello I Red Heart the encouragment. Thank You

Debs Hello Thank You I will definitly be looking forward to our adventure. Very Happy

I use a Nikon D40x which would be considered a highend Point and Shoot. I also have a D300, however I am not as good at fiddly settings and find that my subject is usually gone long before I get the settings right and more times than not, the auto feature on the D300 fails to get a good quailty image. I know very little about any other makes/models. Although a few of the people I shoot with at the Zoo use Cannon. Both Cannon and Nikon are great, in that, you can purchase cheaper lenses that work with the camera no problem, like Sigma. I hope this helped you some.

Sassyk Hello and Thank You too! I am pleased that everyone is happy with what I have so far. At least I know I am on the right track Grin

Thanks to you all for stopping by. It's a beautiful day out and since the eagles will only be here a few more wks, I am going to head off to Kilby once more.

Cheers

This is the 2nd nest that is a wee bit further along the path. It is on someones property so I can't get much closer.
