I was worried that Mom had been abandoned.. urgh. It looks as if, from your comments, there was a food delivery this AM?

Not usually a worry-wart.

Looking forward to my trip to Maple Beach (across the Bay) this September. I can't wait to see all the eagles I keep hearing about. By that time, Echo and Foxtrot will have fledged and M and D can go on vacation :-)

Dad in the nest, scrounging for snacks.
Mom is on the tippy top of the evergreen in the distance.. in the Y

checked in to see a fresh bull-head in the nest, didn't see who brought it in. They seem to be eating a lot of these little things - it seems like food is a little scarse right now. I think that I might be right because the smaller baby didn't get a single bite of the last fish - despite crowding the parents face begging for food, looking for scraps after the feeding was done.

Has mom been spotted lately?

Dad(?) Sat alone with kids all morning, calling from time to time softly. Finally around 11:25 he left the nest and the kids alone for a minute, then came barelling back when two vultures appeared and made a loud fuss at them. Mom showed up just then and joined the noise making - too bad she was empty handed though.

Mom and Dad both in nest right now, alittle bit ago they were both vocalizing. Could see big shadow go over nest. I assume an eagle intruder......yes, see the intruder clearly right now. More vocalizing by parents. They have to be on guard at all times....see two intruders. Geez, they get close to the nest....yikes!!!
