Thank you, Annie, for the link and the reply to my question about the noise. Must give these eagles credit for choosing such a lovely ocean-side spot. Each time I open my link to this forum I see a s'cap from December when the nest was in dismal repair. Between the efforts of the daring human who shored up the foundation and all the work Ma and Pa have done, it does look like these two can easily take a few renos in stride. The nest bowl is really looking cosy and welcoming for the new family.

Thank you, too, Little Kopit. Not sure I can handle much more drama in my life, what with four twenty-somethings of my own and a very popular hummingbird feeder in the back yard.

1:32pm......Good afternoon Tina, Little Kopit and Pursuit! It is very rainy today. Poor Ma WR needs a rain hat and jacket! I notice that no one seems to want the left over bits in the nest..........maybe they will get dropped over the side.

3:33pm...........Nice observations and s'caps Tina and Cococat! It looks as if it is starting to dry out a bit now. Our adults will probably be back later as they seem to be at the nest frequently now. I notice that the leftover bird bits in the nest are gone. Nothing goes to waste!
