2:24 pm -Pa moves to the nest bowl


Pa goes back to the lookout branch

2:25 pm - Pa flies off, Ma in Y branch

Jean, Poor things, they just can't catch a wind break these days. It is good to see them now staying
in the nest or nest tree for much longer periods and what a nice job they're doing preparing the nest.

2:48p - Mom still perched above the Y@1.


2:54-:55p - Mom comes down from the Y and pokes around in the bowl.

Love when she contemplates just how things are looking in the bowl.

3:04pm...........Yes, Annie, it is getting exciting to see mom looking intently at the nest. She has been digging in the nest and I think some leftovers are there as her beak is quite red. But she seems to be just staring at the nest. Is she thinking about the upcoming events?

3:08pm...........Here are some more..........Mom is staying a long time.........maybe wants to stick around the nest now. ??

2:54 pm - Ma in the nest bowl

2:58p - Mom moves up to the lookout......really foggy and I can hear raindrops falling.
It's 5.7C/42°F w/88% humidity. She has her feathers to keep her warm and of course, Dad's .


3:14p - Thought I heard Dad and Mom looked like she heard him.

3:23p - Mom just flew out and I heard calls x3 from one of them.

3:22pm.......... .Darn it!! Mom just flew away and I was too slow to catch it! Did anyone else get it? I guess she got tired of waiting for Dad. She was here in the tree for a long time. It has been almost 2 hours since I first logged on to find them both in the nest.

4:24p - No activity for the last hour.

Jean, I saw her fly out but didn't capture it either. I was multi'tasking again!
