1:49 pm - Pa returns, Ma moves to lookout branch and cleans her beak, Pa takes prey birds wing and flies out of the nest, Ma follows

2:56pm Good Afternoon everyone. Looks like they had quite the feast for lunch....missed all the action again this morning. Thanks for all the s'caps, they sure have been busy.

4:05pm Looked in saw one picking up a nestover and flew off right after...too quick I didn't get a scap

4:06 pm - eagle comes to nest, digs and takes remains and quickly flies off, i don't think it was Ma or Pa , different behaviour

Tina, Joanne & Karen - Good reports and great captures. I was here but working on other things.

Tina, I think lunch may have been a surf scoter....dunno for sure.

It was really sweet how he brought the prey and didn't eat it. He stood guard calling for Mom. At
first I thought he was going to bury it! I also got a kick out of her immediately taking it when she
got there. Dad didn't care; it was his gift to her.

Good catch eaglenut, I kind of thought the same thing...was too quick and why would they take it out of the nest?
